Materials:1. Remote control car2. 2 large styrofoam blocks3. Batteries4. Large foam boards5. Hot glue guns6. Glue for glue gun7. Zip ties several sizes8. Box cutter9. Screw10. Finishing nails11. Solder gun12. Solder13. Pencil (For marking)
Instructions:1: Strip the remote control car to the motors and data board (DON'T BREAK THE DATA BOARD!!!)2. Take a thin foam board and cut it into to fins with gaps in the middle. Then cut a circle the size of the wheel and hot glue the fins to the wheel on the car.3. Take a thick foam board and cut a big square. Then on the inside cut a rectangle the size of the fins (paddle) on the middle of the square.4. Position the car and ziptie it on the thick foam board.5. Take the screw and put it threw the hole in the turning gear. Hot glue a rudder shaped, thin foam board on the turning gear.6. Take the two finishing nails and tap them in to the area around the turning gear (so it can turn all of the way.)7. Then take the motor that turns the turning gear and position it just right on the turning gear and ziptie it onto the deck of the boat.8. Finally take the 2 foam blocks and cut them to a more arodinamic shape (in picture above.)9. Drive your remote control paddle boat around! Have fun!

There are many types of paddle boats. Steam paddle boats, Pedal paddle boats, etc. There are many matters to the design of the paddle boat. The design of the paddle is essential to how much the maximum speed of the boat is. They should not go very fast because the design of the boat will not let it, it will just flip over if it goes to fast. Paddle boats were used as warships for China. They would have a bunch of people in the bottom to pedal the paddles to power their warships. We still use paddle boats today. You can find them at the zoo and hotel resorts and many other places.
